Baptism

Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. – Hebrews 10:22

The Purpose of This Study Is To:

  • Answer the question “How should one be baptized?”

  • Show the Biblical and historical evidence for the different modes of water baptism (i.e. sprinkling, pouring & immersion).

  • Examine the method of Jesus’ baptism to find if it has any significance for Christian baptism.

Explain the position which New Life Church has taken regarding the mode of baptism.
