Virtual Tour of the Church Building

The church facility is located on Route 630 (Courthouse Road) in Stafford, Virginia. We are just 1.3 miles east of Interstate 95, exit 140.

God has blessed us with a very functional church building located on 3.47 acres of land.

The southern part of the facility is a one story assembly and the northern section is a two story structure housing classrooms and offices.

The building was constructed to have the character of a residential home. This was to emphasize the family atmosphere we have at New Life.

There is a picnic and play area to the north of the building.

We are surrounded by trees (some of which are very beautiful) and we still have acreage for future construction.

Parking lots are found on three sides of the building. Handicapped spaces are placed by the front door. Plans are being made for parking expansion.

Let's take you through the main entrance and give you a virtual tour. These pictures were taken on a slow day, so that you can focus on the facility.

This is the entrance (or foyer). (Bathrooms are to the right.)

Our library is the first door on the left as you enter. We have numerous videos, DVDs, cassette tapes, and (of course) books on Christian topics.

Ahh! One of the many people who use the library. During the week you will often find adults using the library as a fellowship place.

Back in the foyer you can see a set of shelves with pigeon holes. Every attender has a mailbox to receive mail, notes, and important information.

Behind the mailboxes is the office of Lars Dahl, one of our pastors.

We are now back in the foyer. You are looking into the office area.

This is our office reception area.

Here is the desk of the office manager (not shown). The office contains computers, photocopiers, tape duplicating equipment, scanners, and printers.

Dennis Rupert's office, our other pastor. See! The pastor does work on days other than Sunday!

Here is the church nursery - just down the hall from the office. We have many babies at New Life. Some claim it's something in the drinking water.

The nursery has four crib units, a changing table, sink, play area, and a rocking chair.

This is the toddler room. Children's ministries (from nursery to youth group) are staffed by adults who have been through the Child Safety program.

Back in the foyer. The door to the left is the library; to the right is the assembly area.

Now we enter the doors to the assembly area. This is where the ushers will greet you.

Here is a view from the back of the assembly. We have seating for approximately 275. This room is used for worship on Sunday and other large events.

Another view of the assembly. Our worship is contemporary and joyful. We believe God actually meets with us when we assemble.

The church service starts at 10:30 AM. Children remain with parents for singing and then are dismissed to Children's Church during the teaching.

The kitchen is located to the rear of the assembly. We have church "pot blessings," men's breakfasts, etc.

Moving upstairs to the second floor we find the high school room.

Next along the hall is the small assembly room. Used for Sunday school, youth group, and smaller worship gatherings.

This is the kindergarten room. Bright and cheery.

And the final room on the second floor is used for Sunday school and other educational functions.

We hope you have enjoyed your virtual building tour. Of course, the church isn't a building - it's people! So please come visit our church family!
